The digital transformation of the Cuban educational system faces structural challenges related to connectivity, equity, and teacher training. This article presents an applied methodological proposal to integrate the Linkzone CAT2 device as a connectivity solution in schools with limited infrastructure. It begins with a contextual diagnosis of the digital divide in Cuba and provides a step-by-step technical configuration guide accessible to users with varying levels of digital literacy. The proposal includes a pedagogical methodology that aligns the device with innovative teaching practices, featuring a diagnostic activity using Duolingo AI in upper secondary education. The research follows a qualitative-descriptive approach, based on the systematization of institutional experiences and technical validation of the device. Results show that, despite its limitations compared to more advanced models, the Linkzone CAT2 is a strategic tool for implementing hybrid classes, accessing digital platforms, and promoting collaborative learning. The study concludes that the device’s impact depends not only on technology, but also on institutional planning, teacher training, and community inclusion. This article offers a reproducible resource for Cuban educational institutions seeking to reduce the digital divide through viable, contextualized, and sustainable solutions.
