The use of open educational resources is essential in the current educational context mediated by Information and Communication Technologies, particularly in the distance learning modality. However, these resources do not always meet the quality required for use with a specific purpose in the teaching-learning process. Therefore, it is essential to have appropriate evaluation tools that allow for the assessment and certification of their quality, so that they can be installed on platforms and virtual environments for subsequent use. Currently, there are various models and tools, which do not always allow for comprehensive evaluation, nor can they be used with sufficient ease and clarity. This work aims to disseminate a tool for the comprehensive evaluation of digital educational resources in the Cuban context. This tool was developed by a group of teachers from the Enrique José Varona University of Pedagogical Sciences, taking into account some of the previous experiences and results that have had an impact at the national and international levels.
