La utilización del video en las clases de Biología es necesaria, como parte del conjunto de medios de enseñanza, debido a las potencialidades que este presenta. ¿Están los estudiantes en formación preparados para enfrentar este reto tecnológico?
Este trabajo presenta los resultados de una propuesta de cómo aprender sobre el video, desde el video mismo, historia, su papel como lenguaje audiovisual, alternativas de utilización en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje; mediante un curso optativo: Videos interesantes del mundo de los seres vivos, que se imparte en la formación inicial del profesor de Biología en la Universidad de Ciencias Pedagógicas "Enrique José Varona”
Abstract:
The usage of videos in the biology lesson is required, as another teaching medium, given its potentialities. Are students in formation ready to face this technological challenge?
The article shows the results of a proposal of how to learn about videos, from the video itself, its history, its role as audiovisual language, alternatives in the teaching-learning process, through an optional course. Interesting videos of living beings taught as part of the initial formation of the biology teachers at Enrique J Varona University of Pedagogical Sciences.
