Professional improvement. An essential way to promote the legal culture of municipal methodologists

The article addresses professional improvement to promote the legal culture of educational methodologists. Improvement is assumed as a continuous pedagogical process, based on the study of the theoretical-methodological references resulting from educational research. It is recognized that legal preparation in the educational context enhances the professional performance of educational methodologists in their educational practice. The different organizational forms of improvement translate into consciously organized pedagogical actions aimed at a single goal, the continuous and permanent training of the educational community. As a pedagogical process, professional improvement is developed in the sphere of action of the subjects involved, in this case the General Directorate of Education (DGE) at the municipal level. The article emphasizes that the legal culture of methodologists allows them to successfully fulfill their functions and pedagogical work aimed at the accompaniment and methodological guidance of the directors of educational institutions for decision-making through mastery of legal knowledge and procedure, assuming an attitude and commitment to the study of legal aspects that serve as a guiding basis for their performance. The objective of this article is: to assess the importance of professional improvement for the achievement of a legal culture of educational methodologists in the National Education System.
