The present article aims to design a didactic procedure aimed at methodologists-inspectors, educational managers, teachers and families, for the improvement of methodological work in the area of communication in early childhood. It is based on the communicative approach, which stimulates the understanding and construction of messages through verbal and nonverbal signs, promoting communication as a means of socio-affective and cognitive development. The methodology included a literature review, analysis of Cuban regulatory documents, and the implementation of in-person, virtual, and blended advisory activities with the active participation of educators and families. As a result, irregularities in the methodological treatment of communication in children aged three and four were identified, and a strategy of demonstrative and personalized activities was proposed to improve verbal and nonverbal communication. It is concluded that adopting a systematic communicative approach, linked to play and multisensory stimulation, contributes to the comprehensive development of children at this stage.
