This research addresses the shortcomings in the comprehensive education of primary school students through the process of socialist values formation in the current Cuban context. The main objective was to develop a pedagogical model that, through the systemic articulation of the content, socio-educational context, and values-attitude dimensions, fosters the development of authentic socialist civic behavior in sixth-grade students through experiential and contextualized appropriation of socialist values. The methodology was based on a dialectical-materialist approach and theoretical and empirical methods, including observation, interviews, surveys, and collaborative workshops, applied to a purposive sample of 25 sixth-grade students, 10 teachers, 6 administrators, and 30 parents from the "República de Vietnam" school in Arroyo Naranjo, Havana. The most relevant results include the identification of historical trends in values education since 1976, the structuring of a pedagogical model with three interrelated subsystems (values content, socio-educational context, and value-attitude), and the successful implementation of the methodology, which demonstrated significant transformations in students' civic behavior, reflected in improvements in the cognitive, affective, and behavioral dimensions. It is concluded that the proposal strengthens students' holistic development by promoting a contextualized and experiential appropriation of socialist values.
